I took my last final last night! We played with Tim and Heather afterward. good times. Today has been very slow. The phone rang a lot today, which is always good. I thought today would be just a good day to post some pictures and whatnot... let's see...Have I posted pictures of our Christmas tree yet?
(We debated in Target - 1 light strand or two? Decided on two. ...if you can't tell from the picture, two is not enough lights. )
A few pictures from last night, and Dude has mastered sit.
So we have a lot to do this weekend. Aaron will get his Christmas gift... he wants a gun. So that's what he's getting. I still don't know what I want. But Dude knows what he wants, and he might get it this weekend too! And we'll need to buy more Christmas lights. Church and Will's birthday brunch on Sunday. Maybe Aa will get a haircut. That is about it. Tame? yes. The goal? yes.

Update!

Hello!
Okay, quick post. I'll shoot for 4 minutes, since it's 8:31. (8:32, better hurry up!!)
Molly and Jake came in two Saturdays ago, and left last Saturday. It was great seeing them! Oh moving. Such a mixed bag - good for growth, but hard. Which is pretty much semantically the same thing, isn't it? Everything hard is good for growth. And everything good for growth...is hard? Is that
true? Not sure.

Okay, less rambling, what else... We dog-sat Zoey, which was lots of fun, but I may have already... I did write about that. And we went to Eric's football game! Okay, we were really late. ...we missed it. But we got there for the awards ceremony-- it was the championship game... the Lanier Bowl, actually. I should learn who Lanier is. or was.
And it was Thanksgiving! It was a good time. We played croquet, and I was really bad at it.

I think I'm bad at most moderately competitive activities that require any coordination. But it was fun -- nice day.

Okay, it's 8:47. I'm not so fast.

Home!

Sooo, I'm trying really hard to keep this up to date. I'm also trying hard to give myself a little time to relax and fall asleep early tonight. Tomorrow morning is the Torts test! I'm about a week behind - we just got back from dog sitting, Thanksgiving happened... I plan to post those pictures in the next post... Last weekend was our 5 month anniversary and we decided we could use a little celebration. Aaron made steak, we lit candles, it was nice.
...Anyway, we're home tonight for the first time in a few nights (since...last Monday) and it feels very good. Home = good. Even when you're not far from home, it can be stressful. I mean, dog sitting was nice, it's neat to get a change of scenery and Zoey the Dog is lots of fun. But ..."there's no place like home", "home sweet home", etc. There's a reason cliches are popular. ...i can't seem to make accents with this program...

Feel good about wasting time on the internet!

Okay, so the instructions to this blog say I should tell you all about following. If you click the link to the left of this window that says "follow this blog", then I believe you will get an email when we write a new entry. So if that sounds like a good thing to you, go for it! Click it! Reading a friend/family member's blog is a great way to procrastinate without feeling guilty about it. Gotta pay those bills... oh, right after I read this...

this might be a boring post.

Not too much going on at the Adams' household this weekend, but that's a good thing sometimes, right? Our weeks are so busy... We spent Friday night playing chess... Aaron cooked dinner (chicken, broccoli, and scalloped potatoes!) and I gave Dude a haircut (again, I know! that's all I write about!). Dude has learned "Sit" and "Down", but we're still not 100% on "Be House-trained".

Saturday and Sunday were calm, I did some studying and Aaron finished his continuing education for 08 (just in time!). We picked up the iMarriage study guide at church, as our rogue small group (we are rogue because we have no leader, which Buckhead Church advises against, but we are happy with the set up) is starting that series tonight (Monday). Looks like an interesting (and very helpful/effective) study!

Courtesy of AT&T, on Sunday Aaron and I went with Lois and Tim to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. It wasn't the kind of music we normally listen to (such music snobs we are) but the vocalists were amazing and the light show was really neat. I've never been to anything like it!

Alright, more pictures next time, I promise.
Take care,
Sara

Just getting started...

So, this is our blog! We thought we might start one of these just to share about the things going on in our world. Anything that keeps us all more in touch with one another is a good thing, right? Right.
So welcome to our blog!
Last weekend we got to spend some time in the park with the newest addition to the Adams' family... Dude!
I'm already wondering how hard it will be to keep this up to date, as it has taken a number of days for me to even post this!
I think I'll post a few more pictures and call it a success if I just get this entry published, and notice of this blog sent out...

<--Here's Dude and I running at the park!
gotta love the sunshine! We cut his hair after we saw these pictures and realized how hard it must be for him to see!!

And who's this handsome man?

Alright, that's all for now. Love to all!
